As the organization continues to expand, they are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. Responsibilities- Perform full-cycle accounting including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
- Analyze financial data and prepare monthly reporting packages.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and investigate accounting discrepancies.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
- Support external audits and year-end tax preparation.
- Monitor and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Partner with operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with project accounting and cost tracking as needed.
- Contribute to process improvements and increased efficiencies within the accounting department.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 4+ years of progressive full-cycle accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with fixed asset accounting.
- Experience with cost accounting within a manufacturing, engineering, construction, or project-based environment.
- CPA designation or CPA-track candidate is a plus.
- Competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000, depending on experience.
