Job Title:

Part-Time Dental Hygienist on Fridays from 7:30 am-5 pm (1 hour lunch)

Pierpan Dentistrywww.pierpandentistry.com Pierpan Dentistry is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis, working one day per week. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who values patient-centered care, enjoys building relationships, and takes pride in promoting oral health in a friendly, welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures

Conduct oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and screenings

Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care Assist the dentist with exams and treatment planning

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols

Create a positive and comfortable experience for patients

Qualifications:

Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of North Carolina Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality care Ability to work independently and as part of a team
