Position SummaryPlacing a pharmacist in charge, this role is essential for ensuring the delivery of high‑quality patient care and community outreach. As a Pharmacy Manager at Walmart, you will lead a team of pharmacists and pharmacy staff, oversee day‑to‑day operations, and maintain compliance with all regulations and company policies.
What you’ll do- Provide comprehensive patient care by processing and dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and running other pharmacy programs in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.
- Ensure effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, and inventory management.
- Model, enforce, and guide proper customer service techniques to resolve customer needs within company guidelines.
- Oversee and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging associates to serve as good members of the community.
- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, and conducting safety and quality assurance reviews.
- Proficiency in working with patients and healthcare providers effectively.
- Expertise in analyzing data to enhance pharmacy performance and patient outcomes.
- Competence in analyzing financial data to make informed business decisions.
- Capability to manage a pharmacy, including overseeing staff and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm
D, degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP). - Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
- U.S. pharmacy related experience.
