Paraeducator - Special Education

Para educator Position

Hampstead Middle School (Grades 5-8) is seeking a full-time para educator for the  school year to work with students identified with educational disabilities. The qualified candidate will provide in-person academic and/or behavioral supports to middle school students. Duties may include personal care requiring the lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, pushing, and walking.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and other physical capability as noted

Employment

Terms:

• 6.0 hours per day, Monday through Friday
• 30 min unpaid lunch
• Salary and benefits are based on experience and the Hampstead Associate of School Staff (HASS) Agreement, attached.
