Para educator Position
Hampstead Central School (Pre-K through Grade
4) is seeking a full-time para educator for the school year to work with students identified with educational disabilities. The qualified candidate will provide in-person academic and/or behavioral supports to elementary students. Duties may include personal care requiring the lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, pushing, and walking.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and other physical capability as noted

Terms:
6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday 30 min unpaid lunch Salary (based on experience), and benefits are in accordance with the Hampstead Association of School Staff (HASS) Agreement, attached. (Note Appendix A, Wage Schedule; and Article 7, Insurance.) Medical and Dental Insurance Benefit Offerings are associated with this position. FLSA Status: non-exempt
