Position SummaryThe General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and strategic direction of the Hampstead manufacturing facility and associated business operations. This role provides leadership across operations, commercial execution, quality, supply chain, engineering collaboration, financial performance, and employee development to ensure the business achieves its growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence objectives.
The General Manager serves as the senior leader for the facility and works closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, Product Management, Finance, and Human Resources to drive business performance, strengthen customer relationships, execute strategic initiatives, and support long-term growth. The role maintains overall accountability for site performance, business results, and organizational effectiveness.
Position Responsibilities Business & Site Leadership- Lead overall site and business performance.
- Establish strategic priorities aligned with company objectives.
- Drive accountability, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Represent the facility with customers, auditors, and executive leadership.
- Develop and execute plans that support growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Plant Manager and functional leaders.
- Ensure achievement of safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and cost objectives.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support capital planning, capacity planning, and facility improvement activities.
- Maintain executive-level relationships with key customers.
- Support quotation processes, pricing strategy, and commercial execution.
- Ensure customer requirements are translated into operational priorities.
- Lead resolution of significant customer concerns and escalations.
- Partner with Sales and Product Management to support growth opportunities.
- Own site P&L performance and achievement of financial targets.
- Lead annual operating plans, forecasts, and capital budgets.
- Drive margin improvement, cost reduction, and working capital initiatives.
- Monitor business performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with ISO requirements, customer standards, and company policies.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, ethics, and continuous improvement.

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Business, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive manufacturing, operations, business leadership, or general management experience.

- Strong business acumen with experience managing financial performance, budgets, and strategic initiatives.
