Come join our team! East Coast Lumber is seeking Retail Sales Associates for Full-time and Part-time positions.

Successful candidates will have strong people skills, excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, be able to work in a team environment, and most of all enjoy working with people.

East Coast Lumber is a full‑service professional lumber yard and building supply company located in East Hampstead, NH that has been family owned and operated since 1976. By supplying local builders, remodelers, and homeowners with all their building needs, we have become a preferred supplier of lumber and building materials, kitchen & bath products, builder’s hardware, millwork, and equipment sales, rentals, and service.

• Need to have excellent phone skills.
• Must have good organizational, multitasking, and computer skills.
• Be able to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to work on your feet for an 8‑hour shift.
• Experience or exposure to Building Materials or Hardware is a plus.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Available and willing to work at least one weekend day per week and some evenings until 7pm.
• Must be legal to work in the United States and be over 18 years old.

• Operating a Point‑Of‑Sale system to sell products from in the store or out in the lumber yard.
• Assisting customers with product location and selection.
• Restocking shelves, cleaning, and organizing products on the floor, and answering customer phone calls.
