Location: Hampton, GA
Pay Rate: $23/hr | 6-Month Temp-to-Direct
We're seeking a Shop Project Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Hampton, GA. This hands-on position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude who enjoys building, repairing, and upgrading technical equipment used in the power industry.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, repair, refurbish, and upgrade returned products in the service shop
- Disassemble and diagnose equipment to determine corrective actions
- Reassemble and test products for quality and functionality
- Assist with the construction, assembly, and testing of mobile product lines
- Perform punch list and acceptance items as needed
- Operate and calibrate shop tools, gauges, and testing equipment
- Support engineering teams with prototype builds and testing
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of hands-on technician experience with strong mechanical background and some electrical knowledge
- Proven electromechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
