What You'll Do

Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on customer demand, sales forecasts, inventory levels, and plant capacity.

Convert customer orders into executable production schedules, accounting for equipment availability, labor resources, changeovers, and production priorities.

Monitor schedule adherence and adjust production plans as business needs change; review work-in-process, finished goods inventory, and production performance to identify risks and implement corrective actions.

Plan and coordinate raw material, packaging, and component requirements to support production schedules.

Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify potential shortages or excess inventory.

Manage long-term material requirements for key items including corrugate, bottles, labels, caps, chemicals, and other critical materials.

Create and manage work orders, purchase orders, and material receipts within the ERP/MRP system.

Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers to expedite critical materials and resolve supply issues.

Maintain planning data including lead times, reorder points, and inventory parameters; prepare reports on inventory, production schedules, and material availability.

Prepare materials for shipment to other facilities when necessary.

Collaborate daily with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Logistics, Customer Service, and Quality to ensure uninterrupted operations, communicating scheduling changes, material shortages, and inventory concerns to key stakeholders.
