Overview
Seeking an LPN or RN to work PRN at a residential adolescent group home program in Hampton, GA. 1 Shift/week AND 1 Weekend/month REQUIRED. Starting pay is $28/hr for LPN and $35/hr for RN, with additional pay based on years of nursing experience. Shift differential: $3/hr on nights and weekends.
ResponsibilitiesAs an RN/LPN, you will provide direct nursing care and be responsible for administering medications, providing medical treatments, completing admissions, and actively engaging with the youth served and their families/guardians.
ASCEND Program (Career Advancement)Devereux offers ASCEND, a career accelerator program designed to provide career guidance, one-on-one coaching, skills development, and financial assistance to support growth in behavioral healthcare roles. The program includes tuition reimbursement and student loan repayment opportunities as described by the sponsor.
QualificationsEducation and Experience:
- Completion of an accredited LPN or RN program and current Georgia Nursing License required.
- Six months to one year of nursing experience is highly preferred.
- Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents is a plus.
Other Qualifications:
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory results from drug screen and background check.
- Overnight availability, 6:30 pm – 7:00 am, every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) availability and holidays required.
- Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 8:30 am to 5:30 pm daily.
