Laborer; Hampton, GA

Holder Construction is seeking applicants for the position of Laborer for our project located in Hampton, GA.

The perfect person for this job is a team player who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced yet supported environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of teamwork, the ability to work independently on assignments, handle multiple projects at one time while remaining flexible, and working within tight deadlines.

• Loading/unloading of deliveries
• Handling/moving jobsite materials
• Cleaning/preparing work spaces
• Digging
• Assisting safety professional
• Assisting carpenters
• Various jobsite operations

• 1-year of construction experience and an understanding of safety and general constructability knowledge.
• Ability to perform tasks independently and demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks.
• Maintain professionalism and use critical thinking to solve issues.
• Agile/mobile, remain alert, able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights.
• Be able to read/write.
• Ability to see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.
• Must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment, work outside and must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
