The Barnard School in South Hampton is actively seeking a qualified candidate for a Educational Associate. The Educational Associate provides instructional, behavioral, and social-emotional support to students under the direction of the classroom teacher. Responsibilites include working with individual students and small groups within the multi-age classroom to reinforce instruction, provide targeted academic support, and promote student engagement and independence.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Supporting students during related art classes and other instructional settings.
• Assisting with classroom organization, preparation of instructional materials, and other teacher-directed tasks throughout the school day.
• Supervising students during lunch, recess, and other non-instructional times to ensure a safe and positive school environment.
• Providing behavioral support and helping students develop positive social skills and appropriate classroom behaviors.
• Collaborating with classroom teachers and other staff members to support student learning and meet individual student needs.
