Hampton Academy is seeking a licensed School Nurse (RN or LPN) to support students during our overnight field trip to Washington D.C.. The nurse will be responsible for administering prescription and over-the-counter medications according to student health plans, monitoring and responding to student health needs, providing first aid and emergency care as needed, and maintaining accurate records of all medications administered.
The nurse will also collaborate with trip chaperones to ensure a safe and healthy environment and provide guidance on health and wellness to students as appropriate. Experience working with school-aged children, strong organization adn communication skills, and the ability to remain calm in emergency situations are preferred.
The Washington D.C. trip occurs May 5 - May 8, 2026.
