Nurse Supervisor

Oceanside Center, a Genesis Health Care skilled nursing and rehab facility in Beverly, MA, seeks a Weekend Nurse Supervisor to lead clinical care and weekend nursing operations. This role oversees bedside care, staffing, and coordination of interdisciplinary services to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes and adherence to care plans. The Supervisor mentors and supports nursing staff, promotes a team-oriented, patient-centered culture, and upholds regulatory and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise weekend nursing staff and coordinate daily unit operations
• Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and clinical interventions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and infection control standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team on resident care
• Mentor, coach, and support nursing staff performance and development
• Manage staffing, assignments, and workflow to ensure adequate coverage
• Respond to clinical emergencies and provide advanced clinical support
• Monitor quality indicators and participate in performance improvement
• Communicate with residents and families regarding care and changes in condition
• Document care accurately and ensure proper handoff between shifts
