Description

At Compass of Hope, we reject the model of rushed 5-15 minute medication check-ins. We believe meaningful, high-quality psychiatric care requires time, attention, and a genuine commitment to understanding each patient.

We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who is organized, dedicated, and professional—someone who prioritizes thoughtful, comprehensive care over quick prescribing and can work independently. Our ideal candidate takes the time to assess the full picture, ensuring that underlying medical conditions are not contributing to mental health symptoms, and values collaboration as a cornerstone of effective treatment. Must be comfortable in working with children as we expand into offering more intensive mental health treatment options for children.

You will be supported by a strong clinical team, including medical assistants who manages all pending prescriptions, prior authorizations, and assists with any additional needs. This structure is intentionally designed so you can focus primarily on seeing patient with quality care.

We are a small, mission-driven practice committed to providing exceptional support to our clients. We are looking for a provider who wants to grow with us and help strengthen our medication management team while contributing to a collaborative, respectful environment where all staff are valued as equals. Active participation in consultation and team-based decision-making is essential to achieving the best outcomes for our clients.

Must be comfortable prescribing medication for both children and adults. Training will be provided for our Spravato/Ketamine clinic.

You will get direct supervision weekly from our Psychiatrist Medical Director (MD, PhD) and have unlimited access for support and guidance. Flexible scheduling options including opportunities for part time evening hours and Saturdays only, or full time with benefits.
