Position SummaryThe Housing & Intake Operations Coordinator supports daily housing operations, intake flow management, and administrative coordination across programs. This role ensures residents are safely housed, clients are admitted efficiently, and staff remain organized and accountable to expectations. This is a hands‑on, structured role that supports both field operations and internal administrative processes.
Primary Responsibilities Housing Operations- Coordinate resident intake and discharge in collaboration with clinical staff
- Ensure housing documentation is complete prior to admission
- Conduct room checks and maintain safety logs
- Monitor visitor access and housing compliance
- Coordinate and track resident transportation to services
- Order and track housing supplies
- Submit incident reports to leadership as required
- Track new referrals and ensure required documentation is received
- Monitor authorizations and communicate missing items to clinical staff
- Coordinate intake scheduling
- Ensure admissions are entered into EMR in a timely manner
- Follow up with clinicians regarding unsigned notes or incomplete documentation
- Support census tracking and service engagement updates
- Prepare and set up for staff and leadership meetings
- Create agendas as directed
- Take meeting notes when assigned
- Send reminder emails regarding documentation deadlines and expectations
- Maintain shared calendars and assist with scheduling
- Organize electronic files and maintain compliance folders
- Assist with light executive tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years in behavioral health, residential services, intake coordination, or administrative support
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Ability to manage multiple systems and deadlines
- Strong communication and professional boundaries
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work in housing with clients independently
- Ability to help people with reading and writing disabilities
- Ability to work with people with mental health disorders in high‑stress periods
- Ability to work under stress.
