Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and organized Purchasing Coordinator to assist with day-to-day purchasing activities across the organization. This role focuses on processing orders, tracking purchases from request through delivery, and supporting internal teams with timely communication and documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with spreadsheets, and enjoys coordinating with both vendors and internal departments.

Pay: $19-20/hr depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchase requests for equipment, software, or services from internal departments
  • Create and track purchase orders through delivery and completion
  • Monitor order status and follow up with vendors regarding shipments and fulfillment
  • Maintain purchasing records, logs, and spreadsheets to track costs and purchases
  • Verify order details and assist with invoice support as needed
  • Communicate regularly with vendors via email regarding orders and questions
  • Coordinate with internal teams to clarify needs and provide order updates
  • Support departmental projects and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets and basic tracking templates
  • Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Familiarity with purchasing, coordination, or administrative support is a plus
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in purchasing, procurement support, or administrative coordination preferred
