Position Summary:
This position provides primary support to the Operations Director as well as day-to-day support and tasks as assigned for members of the Administrative Team.
Operations
Position Reports ToOperations Director
HoursThis position consists of a 40-hour work week. The basic work schedule is Sunday-Thursday, as well as attendance at services and special events as required.
Responsibilities and Duties- Operations – Attend weekly Operations meetings, assist with ordering office furniture and facilities/maintenance supplies, assist with scheduling Central Services and Executive events on eSpace calendar.
- General Office – Maintain office supplies for the team, distribute campus mail daily, assist with maintenance requests on office machines (copiers, printers, postage, etc.).
- Business – Serve as a member of the counting team, scan and submit invoices to Ramp.
- HR – Assist with onboarding of new church employees and School of Ministry residents, to include badges, shirts, office needs, office tour, copier and postage machine training, update Paycom with new employee information.
- IT – Maintain employee details in Microsoft 365 & Ministry Platform, update Pastor-on-call list in Ring Central.
- Safety – Assist with onboarding of new team members, to include welcome letter, badge creation, and SOP booklet, maintain Send Hub employee texting system, maintain team Lists in Ministry Platform and Excel, file and maintain incident reports, maintain and process drivers for Liberty, coordinate training events (eSpace calendaring and meal ordering/pick-up).
- Facilities – Assist Facilities Director with streamlining work orders and coordinating with appropriate staff.
- Demonstrate a Christ-like attitude in performing all work to honor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- Faithfully maintain discretion and effectively deal with sensitive and/or confidential information of a written and spoken nature.
- Use independent judgement to determine work priorities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Operations Director.
- Is a loyal staff member by cooperating and following the leadership of the church.
- Follow Liberty’s policies and procedures.
- Work in coordination with the overall mission, goals, and objectives of the church which are summarized by the mission statement, “Changing Lives, Communities, and the World for Jesus Christ.”
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to communicate in a concise and effective manner.
- Must possess good time management skills.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
Physical Requirements
This position is primarily performed at the Hampton campus in an office setting and requires sitting, standing, and lifting of some moderately heavy packages occasionally.
