What You’ll Do:
- Provide administrative and personnel support to squadron front office leadership and staff.
- Prepare meeting minutes, correspondence, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, Word documents, and other administrative materials.
- Maintain electronic files, SharePoint content, records, trackers, suspense items, calendars, schedules, and conference room requirements.
- Support onboarding and offboarding of military and civilian personnel, including sponsorship, orientation, and initial training.
- Monitor personnel, manpower, training, readiness, and administrative actions and provide status updates to leadership.
- Support assigned squadron programs, including administrative training, security, readiness/deployment, supply, civilian timekeeping, Government Purchase Card, and equipment accounts.
- Support organizational operating instructions, regulations, administrative procedures, and internal control requirements.
- Serve as a primary or alternate coordinator for assigned administrative, training, security, readiness, and deployment programs.
- Provide administrative guidance and coordinate with leadership and mission partners with professionalism, tact, and diplomacy.
Required:
- Minimum three (3) years of experience performing administrative and personnel support functions comparable to those required by the PWS.
- Experience preparing professional correspondence, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other administrative documentation.
- Experience supporting personnel actions, organizational programs, records, schedules, and office procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to organize and maintain electronic records, trackers, suspense items, and administrative files.
- Strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across levels of leadership.
- Must be able to successfully complete required background and security screening.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant administrative and personnel support experience required.
- Familiarity or experience with MILPDS and MyFSS.
- Previous administrative or personnel support experience within a military, Department of Defense, or similar Government environment.
- Associate degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of one (1) year of relevant administrative and personnel support experience desired.
The position is located at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), VA. Normal duty hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET. Excludes federal holidays.
