Internship Opportunities
The Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board (H-NNCSB) is committed to supporting the growth and development of future professionals in behavioral healthcare. Our unpaid internship and practicum programs offer a comprehensive training experience with diverse clinical opportunities that align with the credentialing and academic requirements of affiliated institutions. Collaboration with the Training Program is key to developing individualized training plans, assessing student progress, and addressing ongoing learning needs.
H-NNCSB provides internship and practicum placements for highly qualified students, helping to cultivate skilled professionals in the behavioral health field.
We are now accepting applications for behavioral health internships for the Fall 2026 semester from students attending the following accredited colleges and universities:
- The College of William & Mary
- Christopher Newport University
- Hampton University
- Old Dominion University
- Norfolk State University
- Regent University
To apply, submit your application today! The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, child registry search, drug screening test, and employment reference checks.
