The Coordinator of Student Conduct is responsible for the administration and oversight of the University's student conduct program. This role operates under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President for Student Success and Dean of Students and serves as a critical liaison between faculty, staff, and other university members concerning conduct matters. The Coordinator ensures the adjudication of potential violations of University policy and the Student Code of Conduct, maintains essential records, and assists students in understanding their rights and responsibilities within the University community.

Education:
· Oversee the University's student conduct program to ensure fair and consistent enforcement of policies.
· Coordinate with the AVP/Dean of Students to develop and implement procedures related to student conduct.
· Stay updated with best practices in student conduct administration and integrate them into the University's program.
· Manage the process of investigating and adjudicating potential violations of University policies and the Student Code of Conduct.
· Ensure timely and thorough investigations of conduct cases.
· Conduct hearings and facilitate the resolution of conduct cases.
· Provide clear and concise documentation of conduct proceedings.
· Act as a liaison between faculty, staff, and university members in response to conduct matters.
· Communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in conduct cases.
· Provide training and support to faculty and staff regarding student conduct processes and policies.
· Maintain accurate and confidential records of conduct cases.
· Ensure compliance with legal and institutional requirements regarding student records.
· Compile and analyze statistical data related to student conduct and prepare reports as needed.
· Assist students in understanding their rights and responsibilities as University community members.
· Provide educational programs and resources to promote awareness of the Student Code of Conduct.
· Support students through the conduct process, offering guidance and resources.
Typical
Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, Counseling, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in student conduct, student affairs, or a related field in higher education.

Skills:
o Strong knowledge of student conduct processes and best practices.
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
o Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
o Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
o Proficiency in using conduct management software and other relevant technology.
