Description
Saint Mary Star of the Sea School in Hampton, Virginia is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Part-Time Spanish Teacher for in-person teaching and learning for the school year. Eligible candidates should possess or be able to apply for a VA teacher license (VDOE or VCEA). The successful candidate should be passionate about sharing the Catholic faith, have experience in supporting students’ learning through world language developmentally appropriate educational activities and lessons, assessments, and hands-on experiences.
Capable of creating an inviting, meaningful, and excellent learning environment. Work in partnership with other staff, parents, and students. Communicate effectively and demonstrate a commitment to advance the mission of the school.
- Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an approved program (K-5 general education)
- Possess or willingness to obtain VDOE or VCEA in Spanish
- Computer literate and technologically proficient.
- Highly organized and motivated.
