SUMMARY:

WR has an opportunity for a Test Engineer, Senior to develop, execute, and document testing procedures to assess unit performance and reliability under various environmental conditions. This role supports U.S. Navy navigation systems and requires a recognized subject matter expert with extensive hands-on experience. Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
* Design, develop, and maintain detailed test protocols and procedures.
* Conduct tests and experiments at on-site and off-site locations to evaluate unit performance across varying environmental conditions.
* Analyze and interpret test data, documenting findings in comprehensive technical reports.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and recommend corrective actions.
* Develop and maintain documentation to support repeatable and sustainable testing processes. Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Technical training in U.S. Navy navigation equipment and systems.
* Twelve (12)+ years of hands-on experience with U.S. Navy navigation equipment and systems, including experience in at least three (3) of the following four (4) areas:
* Systems Requirements
* Operational Requirements
* Test & Evaluation
* Training
* Recognized subject matter expert who has demonstrated leadership in U.S. Navy navigation equipment and systems within industry and/or public service. The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment third-party background check which may include verification of any of the following:
