In this role, the Facilities Mechanical Engineer will lead the design, improvement, and implementation of facility systems, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
You will manage capital and expense projects from concept to completion—ensuring timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements are consistently met. You'll collaborate with production, maintenance, and admin teams to support continuous improvement and operational goals.
- Salary: $95,000 to $120,000 per year. Higher pay for more years of experience is available.

- Lead the specification, design, and procurement of new or upgraded equipment and facility systems.
- Develop functional specs and work closely with vendors and contractors.
- Oversee equipment testing, troubleshooting, and performance validation.
- Provide ongoing maintenance engineering support.
- Create project scopes, estimates, and documentation.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure safe work practices.
- Ensure all activities align with EHS policies and regulatory requirements.
- Occasional travel as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical project engineering or plant maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Experience with ACAD and Inventor software is a plus.
- Solid understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
- Familiarity with diverse facility infrastructure systems.
- Experience in casting, forging, or heat‑treating environments is highly desirable.
