Howmet Aerospace's Hampton Structural Castings (HSC) is seeking an Engineering Technician who has a demonstrated ability to achieve results, as well as the passion to put that experience to work to lead activities and support the plant/location team to achieve manufacturing excellence. • Review and update department processes and instructions.
• Based on directions provided by engineering and knowledge developed on the job, determine appropriate actions to be applied by monitoring performance, analyze data and identify trends to predict potential issues.
• Provide staff with rework instructions and guidance.
• Perform engineering activities as assigned to provide engineering support during hours when engineers are not present.

• Strong oral and written communication skills. Capable of effective communication with all levels of the plant personnel.
• Must be self‑motivated, an independent thinker, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

• Anticipated Pay Range: $60k - $70k per year.
  * Pay rates within this range are determined and based on various factors including experience, education, certifications, etc.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in manufacturing or a technical role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must be available and willing to work overtime as needed.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• Some coursework towards an Engineering or Technical degree preferred.
• Previous experience with dimensional measurement devices (calipers, CMM UT, pincher gauges, etc.).
• CAD and blueprint interpretation experience.
• Familiarity with FPI, X‑ray, and visual inspection.
