Senior Quality & Reliability Engineer Details:
- Contract position
- $ 60.00 / hour
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 05:00pm)
- Lead quality activities for new product development from concept through launch
- Represent the voice of the customer on cross-functional teams
- Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, quality, ITAR, and export control requirements
- Facilitate quality reviews, risk assessments, design reviews, and validation activities
- Lead 8D investigations, root cause analysis, and FMEA risk mitigation
- Drive MSA, Control Plan development, and APQP deliverables including DFMEA, PFMEA, and Process Flow documentation
- Coordinate PPAP submissions and customer approvals
- Support internal audits, project reviews, and issue escalation
- Drive lessons learned, continuous improvement, KPI monitoring, and quality training
- Serve as the primary customer-facing quality representative
- Travel up to 20% regionally
Senior Quality & Reliability Engineer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
- 8+ years of Quality Engineering experience, including NPI/APQP
- Expertise in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, quality planning, 8D, and root cause analysis
- Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 13485, and/or ISO 22163 quality standards
- Internal Auditor experience preferred
- Experience with FMEA/Control Plan software (APIS IQ-RM Pro a plus)
- Proficient with Minitab or similar statistical analysis tools
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
- ITAR Requirement:
