Are you an EHS Subject Matter Expert looking to advance your career? Our manufacturing client in Hampton, VA is seeking a dedicated Environmental Professional to join their local EHS team.

• Strategic Leadership:
  Cultivate a proactive safety culture and lead cross-functional teams on complex environmental improvement initiatives.
• Regulatory Oversight:
  Manage all environmental disciplines, including Air, Wastewater, Storm Water, and Chemical/Waste management.
• Compliance Excellence:
  Ensure 100% accuracy in federal, state, and corporate regulatory filings.
• Operational Sustainability:
  Optimize industrial processes to eliminate waste and reduce water usage, driving core sustainability goals.
• Training & Mentorship:
  Direct and coach plant personnel while developing comprehensive EHS compliance training.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience:
  
  3+ years of EHS management experience.
• Authorization:
  Unrestricted authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.
• Location:
  
  Ability to commute or relocate to Hampton, VA on a daily basis (On-site role).

Preferred:
Professional Certification (e.g., ASP).

• Lead Compliance:
  Manage site-wide environmental disciplines including Air, Wastewater, and Chemical/Waste programs.
• Drive Sustainability:
  Optimize manufacturing processes to eliminate waste and reduce water usage.
• Mentor & Coach:
  Direct plant personnel and cultivate a proactive, continuous-improvement culture.
• Project Leadership:
  Lead cross-functional teams on high-impact environmental improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of EHS experience.
• Expertise in interpreting EHS regulations and technical data.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. and ability to work on-site in Hampton, VA.
• ASP or similar professional certification is a plus!
