Financial Services Representative

We're seeking an experienced financial services professional to join a growing branch team in a senior, relationship-focused capacity. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in retail banking, consultative sales, and lending who is comfortable working with members across a broad range of financial needs.

The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable and highly customer-focused banking professional who can build trusted relationships, identify financial opportunities, and connect members with the appropriate lending and investment resources. This individual will also serve as a resource to the broader branch team, helping strengthen product knowledge, referrals, and overall member service.

This role will work across consumer banking, lending, mortgage, home equity, and investment services while supporting branch goals and maintaining a strong focus on compliance, service, and relationship development.

• Build and maintain strong member relationships through consultative financial conversations
• Identify member needs and opportunities across deposit, consumer lending, mortgage, home equity, and investment products
• Generate and manage quality referrals to internal lending and investment partners
• Provide guidance on financial products and services while connecting members with appropriate specialists
• Process consumer lending products and assist with more complex account and loan-related needs
• Support branch sales, referral, and production goals through proactive member outreach and consultative selling
• Serve as a subject-matter resource for branch employees on financial products, lending, and referral opportunities
• Mentor and support other branch team members through product education and best practices
• Assist with escalated member issues, research, and resolution
• Educate members on digital banking products and available financial services
• Maintain accurate records of member interactions, referrals, and related activity
• Follow established policies, procedures, and applicable banking and regulatory requirements
• Partner with internal teams to improve the overall member experience and support business growth

• High School diploma or equivalent required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience within a financial institution, preferably in a Financial Services Representative, Senior FSR, Personal Banker, or similar role
• Demonstrated success in consultative sales and relationship management
• Strong knowledge of consumer lending and experience with mortgage, home equity/HELOC, and/or investment products
• Ability to identify member needs and generate high-quality referrals
• Working knowledge of financial products, including deposits, consumer loans, IRAs, and digital banking services
• Understanding of applicable financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Previous experience mentoring or developing other employees preferred
• Active NMLS license in good standing or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
• Current Notary Public commission or ability to obtain within six months of hire
• Ability to complete required internal training and certification programs within established timelines
