We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Weapons System Analyst to join our team at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), supporting the Air Combat Command (ACC). The role focuses on analyzing, evaluating, and integrating weapons systems into operational and strategic planning, requiring expertise in Single/Multi-Discipline ISR Analysis and weapons systems evaluation to deliver actionable intelligence that enhances mission effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct weapons systems analysis to assess capabilities, vulnerabilities, and performance of current and emerging systems.
- Perform Single/Multi-Discipline ISR Analysis and Multi-Int Fusion to integrate weapons systems data with other intelligence sources (e.g., GEOINT, SIGINT, HUMINT).
- Develop and deliver high-quality intelligence products, including reports, briefings, and assessments, to inform mission planning and execution.
- Support ISR Target Development by providing detailed analysis of weapons systems and their operational impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mission planners, operators, and intelligence analysts, to ensure timely and accurate intelligence delivery.
- Identify intelligence gaps related to weapons systems and recommend collection strategies to address them.
- Maintain proficiency in analytical tools, methodologies, and software to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge intelligence solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all security protocols, classification guidelines, and organizational policies.
- Experience Level: At least 6 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion within the last 2 years.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. agency‑recognized institution or an associate’s degree plus an additional 4 years of related experience (10 years total) to satisfy the bachelor’s requirement.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in weapons systems evaluation, ISR analysis, and Multi‑Int Fusion; familiarity with analytical tools, databases, and software used in weapons systems analysis; strong understanding of weapons systems capabilities, vulnerabilities, and operational applications.
- Skills: Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills for producing intelligence products and briefings; ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.
- Security Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
- Experience supporting Air Combat Command (ACC) or similar ISR organizations.
- Knowledge of ISR Target Development and operational‑level intelligence planning.
- Completion of a commercial, military, or U.S. Government weapons systems analysis training course or specialized certification.
- Familiarity with advanced analytical tradecraft techniques and methodologies.
- Prior experience mentoring or training junior analysts in weapons systems analysis.
- Be part of a mission‑critical team supporting the U.S. Air Force’s ISR and weapons systems operations.
