Area Manager Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)- Lead and support 15–20+ team members across front desk and clinical roles
- Ensure clinic compliance with company policies, HR standards, and healthcare regulations
- Manage and improve scheduling systems, queue flow, and daily clinic operations
- Oversee onboarding, training, and employee engagement initiatives
- Monitor revenue activity, A/R and A/P processes, and assist with local marketing
- Resolve patient or staff concerns with professionalism and efficiency
- Coordinate staff schedules and provider calendars (including on‑call rotations)
- Manage inventory, supply ordering, and facility maintenance communications
- Handle deposits, payroll timekeeping, and front desk coverage when needed
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 4 years of medical office management experience required
- Minimum 4 years managing large teams (15+ employees)
- Deep knowledge of medical billing, insurance workflows, and EMR/EHR systems
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to travel occasionally between clinic locations

Physical Requirements
- Sit, talk, hear, and use hands to write, type, or operate office equipment
- Occasionally reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and smell
- Perform repetitive motions, including reaching overhead and typing
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Maintain peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustments
