Annual Salary: $83,855
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm with one evening per week
The Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board (H-NNCSB) is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our Partners in Recovery team. This full-time, onsite position provides an opportunity to support adults experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders through comprehensive outpatient services.
Requirement:
- LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license.
- Two (2) years of experience providing therapeutic counseling, crisis intervention, and case management services.
- Must be eligible for or approved for MCO credentialing.
- Manage an assigned caseload and provide person-centered counseling and support.
- Conduct initial and comprehensive assessments, including ASAM assessments, and develop individualized service plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Provide crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic services based on client needs.
- Develop treatment recommendations, discharge plans, and referrals to support continuity of care.
- Coordinate services with clients, families, treatment providers, and community partners.
- Conduct random drug screenings as required.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation, including assessments, service plans, progress notes, and discharge information.
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment approaches as needed.
- Provide guidance, training, and supervision to interns and license-eligible staff as appropriate.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote client safety, recovery, and long-term stability.
