Position Summary

The Pediatric BCBA leads the development and oversight of individualized ABA services for children and families. This role conducts assessments, creates treatment plans, supervises RBTs, reviews data, and partners with caregivers and the multidisciplinary team to support meaningful, socially significant outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments, skill assessments, and clinically appropriate reassessments.
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and behavior-support strategies.
  • Provide clinical supervision, training, and performance feedback to Registered Behavior Technicians.
  • Review data regularly, evaluate progress, and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
  • Provide caregiver training and support to promote consistency and generalization of skills.
  • Collaborate with SLPs, OTs, PTs, physicians, educators, and other care-team members.
  • Complete accurate, timely, and payer-compliant documentation and authorization materials.
  • Maintain certification, applicable Virginia license, and continuing-education requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification.
  • Active Virginia licensure or registration when required by law or regulation.
  • Strong clinical decision-making, supervision, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a pediatric care team.
