Responsible for ensuring optimum property safety and cleanliness. Provide a welcoming impression, maintain a pristine environment for guests and team members while providing unmatched guest service and professionalism.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- General cleaning of carpets, windows, gaming machines, offices, restrooms, and outdoor areas as directed by the Lead EVS Attendant and/or Facilities Supervisor.
- Follow checklists and guidelines for efficient and clean operation of assigned areas.
- Attend and participate in pre-shift briefings and arrive on time.
- Complete remote online and on-site training.
- Adhere to OSHA and Hazcom safe work practices.
- Assist in the maintenance of all storage areas, equipment maintenance, and chemical labeling.
- Monitor equipment condition and use all equipment correctly to ensure it is functional for the team.
- Ensure that all carts and storage areas are organized and maintained in good order.
- Resolve problems within the position's scope of authority and recommend courses of action for problems beyond that scope to the supervisor.
- Perform other duties assigned by Housekeeping Leads and Supervisors.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and adjust pace in a high-volume hospitality environment.
- Basic computer skills; IT knowledge is necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Virgina racing license.
- Minimum of one to three years of experience in commercial cleaning or related hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Maintain open availability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Lift up to 25-50 pounds repeatedly during shift.
- Work within a smoky environment during shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of restrooms, dealing with unpleasant sights/smells.
- Interact with high volumes of guests while completing duties.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- Work environment may vary in levels of crowds, noise, flashing lights, and smoke, depending on the assigned station and guest volume.
- Frequent standing, walking, using hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb/use ladder or step stools for balance; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
