The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and/or banquet services, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining service standards, and supporting the food and beverage team. This role assists in scheduling, training, inventory management, and enforcing company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Supervise daily operations of the food and beverage outlets, ensuring efficient and high-quality service.
- Train, coach, and support team members in service standards and company procedures.
- Assist with scheduling and labor management to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to complaints or service issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Oversee cash handling and point-of-sale operations to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Support the implementation of promotions, events, and seasonal menus in coordination with culinary and marketing teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies and managing costs.
- Participate in daily briefings and relay information to the team effectively.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new hires.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in food and beverage, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.
- Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
