ACLC is looking for an experienced Implementation Process and Tool Trainer with a deep understanding of the iSMART process supporting various phases of the DoD acquisition process. This tool is used by acquisition programs across the DoD, during planning stages and in later phases of acquisition, in order to identify and resolve interoperability problems.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance to users on the iSMART process and the government designated software tool to acquisition programs and other users. This includes answering questions as a help desk for the software.
- Prepare and deliver updated training materials and conduct training (2 classes/year) for approximately 8-10 students per class. Coordinate with vendor as necessary.
- Research and gather information to develop Background Papers, staff studies, Talking Papers, or presentation materials as assigned by the Government
- Education:
Associate's degree in a technical field, such as computer science, engineering, or information technology. - USAF Program Management
Experience:
A minimum of four (4) years of experience managing a USAF program. - IT Project and Data Management
Experience:
At least two (2) years of demonstrated technical experience organizing comprehensive IT projects and applicable data management. - Security+ Certification:
Possession of a current Security+ certification. - iSMART
Experience:
At least two (2) years of experience with the iSMART process and toolsets. - TDL Network and Military Standards
Experience:
At least one (1) year of demonstrated experience with TDL networks and familiarity with applicable military standards (US Mil-Std 3011, 6011, 6016, 6017, 6020, 6040, 188-220, and ) - Strong technical writing, editing, and communication skills to present complex TDL information clearly for operational use.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with Program Offices, SMEs, and operational users to validate and implement C&L information.
Applicant must be a US Citizen and able to obtain the required security clearance for the position.
Physical RequirementsWork may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required.
