Overview
AI / RPA Solutions Architect — Langley AFB, Hampton VA, with travel. Salary $188,000/yr.
Must have / Qualifications- Experience Architect in AI / RPA
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML solution design, development, integration, and testing
- 3+ years of experience in DoD, federal government, or defense contractor environments
- Proficiency in Python for AI/ML development, data processing, and scripting
- Hands on experience prototyping and deploying AI/ML or RPA solutions that delivered measurable business value
- Experience working in classified environments (SIPRNet, JWICS, or equivalent)
- Proficiency with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI platforms (GPT, Claude, LLaMA, or similar)
- Experience with ML frameworks:
Tensor Flow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Keras, or equivalent - Understanding of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI principles
- Understanding of DoD cybersecurity frameworks: RMF, NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation and critical thinking skills
- Security+ or higher (CASP+, CISM, CISSP) is required
- At least 1 AI engineering certification (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google Professional ML Engineer, Microsoft Azure AI Engineer, Tensor Flow Developer Certificate)
- 1 RPA Certification:
UiPath Certified RPA Associate OR Microsoft Power Automate certification (RPA Developer Associate or equivalent) - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
- Focus on classified solutions operating for the DoD SIPRNet Secret and Top Secret environments, addressing intelligence, operational planning, and mission-critical applications requiring higher levels of security and compartmentalization
- Ensure solutions meet Impact Level 5 (IL5) and IL6 security requirements
- Design compartmentalized solutions for AFSCI environments with appropriate access controls
- Prioritize solutions supporting ISR operations, targeting, mission planning, and intelligence analysis
- Support user validation and testing (UAT) with operational end-users in realistic mission contexts
- Facilitate iterative refinement based on user feedback and performance metrics
- Validate solution accuracy, reliability, and usability against defined acceptance criteria
- Document test results, user feedback, and lessons learned
- Transition successful prototypes to sustained operational use, meeting contractual target of 2+ solutions per quarter
- Develop comprehensive transition packages including: architecture and configuration documentation, user guides and SOPs, training materials, troubleshooting guides, and sustainment procedures
