We are currently seeking a Agile Transformation Coach to join our team in Arlington (REMOTE), Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Job Summary:

NTT DATA is seeking an Agile Transformation Coach to accelerate a transition from a traditional Waterfall SDLC approach to a modern delivery model incorporating Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Dev Ops, and Dev Sec Ops  practices. This role will champion Agile adoption and enable measurable outcomes by coaching, guiding, and empowering self‑directed application development teams. The Agile Transformation Coach will partner with stakeholders at all levels, remove barriers, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Job Duties:
  • Mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners and team members on Agile principles, Scrum practices, team dynamics, and facilitation techniques
  • Coach executives and stakeholders to align expectations and roles within an Agile operating model
  • Build coalitions across business lines and job functions in a matrixed organization
  • Translate client insights into actionable team direction, working with leadership and Product Owners to prioritize features based on business value
  • Guide teams through positive change by adopting tools, technical practices, and process improvements that highlight the value of Agile feedback loops within a delivery workflow.
  • Act as a hands‑on partner and coach, providing real‑time advice and support as teams navigate and overcome challenges
  • Drive continuous improvement by promoting Agile engineering practices, enhancing communication, and building collective team skills and capabilities
Additional Duties:
  • Develop, track, and report delivery and transformation metrics for stakeholders
  • Coach, mentor, and train junior and mid‑level delivery team members
  • Design and deliver targeted technical and Agile training programs aligned to business needs
  • Support the development of technology‑specific solutions
  • Manage task scope with respect to budget, resourcing, and geographic considerations
  • Lead implementation and enhancement of service delivery
  • Support the sales organization in pre‑sales activities, including solutioning and proposal support
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improved ways of working
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in information technology
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Agile coaching, training, or Agile team leadership
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Kanban practices and implementation
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, and relevant plug‑ins)
  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Dev Ops experience, including test‑driven development, unit testing, trunk‑based development, and source‑control configuration
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Suitability Determination
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience coaching and training teams in Git source control, dashboard design and development, automated testing concepts, and continuous delivery practices
  • Experience working across multiple departments to coordinate and support the orderly execution of strategy and direction
  • Experience presenting and advocating for the benefits of Agile ways of working and a Dev Ops culture to diverse audiences
  • Experience evaluating, experimenting with, and adopting emerging technologies, and sharing insights with others
  • Exceptional organizing and planning skills to manage and oversee project deliverables
  • Genuine desire to help others succeed

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $105,840 - $245,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will…
