Cloud Engineer Security Clearance

• Build, install, configure, and sustain C2 virtual machine (VM) systems in dev/test/prod
• Support cybersecurity monitoring, assess vulnerabilities, and drive remediation to closure
• Write automation code to deploy/configure apps and infrastructure (Terraform, Ansible, Power Shell)
• Deploy and support Windows & Linux servers, containerized apps, and Kubernetes environments
• Configure AWS services for compute, storage, networking, and security (manual + automated)
• Set up and tune observability using Cloud Watch Logs, Metrics, and Alerts
• Troubleshoot issues across VMs, cloud configurations, and CI/CD automation pipelines
• Maintain clear technical documentation and collaborate with admins, developers, managers, and auditors

• Bachelor’s + 9 years OR Master’s + 7 years (certs may substitute; additional experience may substitute for degree)
• 8+ years building/maintaining software systems
• CompTIA Security+; strong Windows Server and Linux experience
• Hands-on system installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Automation experience with Terraform, Ansible, and/or Power Shell
• Working knowledge of DoD cybersecurity controls, scanning, and remediation processes
• Familiarity with AWS, Git Lab/Git Lab CI/CD, Kubernetes, Dev Sec Ops  practices, and Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
