The Joint Doctrine, Education, and Training Electronic Information System (JDEIS) must hold its Authority to Operate to keep doctrine and education tools available to the force. The Cybersecurity Analyst delivers information system security and cybersecurity support across JDEIS applications and maintains continuous monitoring under the Risk Management Framework. The role protects the systems the Joint Staff and field users rely on daily.
EssentialJob Function
- Provide cybersecurity and information system security support for all systems and applications delivered under the contract.
- Maintain continuous monitoring of JDEIS through the Risk Management Framework to sustain the Authority to Operate.
- Analyze, design, implement, and maintain organizational security controls.
- Support assessment and authorization activities for applicable JDEIS systems.
- Education:
Associate degree from an accredited university; or CNSSI 4011 Information System Security (INFOSEC) Professional; or 3 years experience. - Training and Certification (DoDM 8140.03): IAT Level 1 (A+, Network+, SSCP, or CCNA‑Security); IAM Level 1 (CAP, GSLC, or Security+ CE);
Cyber Defense (CEH, GCIA, CSIH, or GCIH); and an Operating System/Computing Environment (OS/CE) certificate for applicable systems with privileged access. - Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field. - Security Clearance:
Top Secret (per Staffing Plan).
- Prior cybersecurity support to a DoD system holding an Authority to Operate.
