The OpportunityAs an AWS solutions architect, you translate customer IT needs and future goals into a plan by designing, architecting, and deploying production-grade AWS solutions. You modernize infrastructure, enable secure cloud environments including Gov Cloud and DoD IL, and contribute to enterprise-level cloud transformation initiatives. You mentor the next set of developers to grow into tomorrow's solutions architects and, as a technical leader, shape the digital solutions business and identify opportunities for growth.

You Have- 10+ years of experience in IT
- 5+ years of experience with architecting and deploying production AWS solutions
- Experience architecting and engineering cloud solutions in AWS, including VPC design, IAM, EC2, containerized workloads, storage services, and networking fundamentals
- Experience with cloud-native and Dev Sec Ops practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform and Cloud Formation), automated testing, and secure deployment workflows
- Experience with AWS in Gov Cloud and DoD or IL environments
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional and 8570 IAT II Security+ CE Certifications
- Experience designing and implementing automated build or deploy tool chains such as Dev Sec Ops pipelines using Git Lab CI/CD or Jenkins
- Experience in cloud cost optimization, including workload rightsizing, autoscaling strategies, tagging, governance, and leveraging AWS native cost-management tools
- Experience migrating on-premises systems to AWS, including application refactoring, data migration, and modernization of legacy mission systems
- Experience with containerized and Kubernetes-based architectures, such as ECS and EKS, supporting scalable and resilient mission workloads in cloud environments
- Experience working within Gov Cloud or DoD IL environments, applying security controls and compliance frameworks including NIST, RMF, and 800-53
- Ability to collaborate with AOC mission stakeholders to translate operational needs into cloud-native architectural enhancements

Compensation details for this position include a projected range of $ to $ (annualized USD).
