ISR systems. HII works within our nation's intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Job Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of secure network infrastructures supporting Department of the Air Force (DAF) mission systems.
- Configure, monitor, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other network devices.
- Perform network performance analysis, fault isolation, and root-cause investigations to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Assist with network upgrades, technology refreshes, and the integration of new systems or capabilities.
- Implement and maintain network security controls aligned with DoW and DAF cybersecurity policies.
- Support accreditation, compliance, and documentation activities under RMF and related processes.
- Maintain documentation including network diagrams, configuration baselines, SOPs, and change records.
- Provide user support and technical guidance to on-site personnel and mission operators.
- Participate in on-call or after-hours support as required by mission operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise or tactical network environments.
- Working knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking concepts, IP routing, VLANs, ACLs, and basic network security.
- Experience configuring and maintaining common network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, Aruba).
- Ability to perform network troubleshooting using standard tools and methodologies.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, CYSA+), or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
