Departmental Objective Facilities Management is responsible for maintaining campus buildings utilizing the carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC trades as well as housekeeping and floor maintenance.

Purpose of the Position

This position will maintain various floors by performing floor maintenance duties using various floor maintenance equipment and supplies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Related to Position

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning supplies
• Skilled in the use of floor maintenance equipment and supplies
• Good organization skills
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions

• Ability to work from 9p.m.–6a.m., Monday–Friday

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required

Education:

• High school graduate or equivalent education/experience that equates to a high school diploma

Experience:

• Experience with floor maintenance and floor maintenance equipment
• Experience with cleaning methods and cleaning supplies

Salary Information

Starting at $31,200, Commensurate with Education and Experience.

• This is a classified position. New and returning classified employees are required to complete a 12‑month probationary period.
