Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment to produce precision components to spec
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications to ensure accurate part production
  • Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
  • Perform in-process inspection using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with tooling, fixturing, and machining processes to minimize downtime
  • Follow all quality and safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and other machinists to meet production goals and deadlines
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or multi‑axis machining equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications
  • Working knowledge of G‑code and basic machine offsets
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to hold tight tolerances consistently
  • Familiarity with quality and safety standards in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced production setting
