MDM Specialist - IGT

Responsibilities

• Utilize various software programs to process work instruction documentation through various processes.
• Manage documentation retention processes that require occasional shipments to and from Howmet.

• Use Teamcenter software to create product containers for all work instructions, create containers for specific operations, process the instruction through an approval process, publish to WIE software for official use, and archive outdated documents.
• Process customer specifications and blueprints through approval and publishing processes.
• Manage the organization and retention of physical copies of customer specifications.
• Conduct internal audits in various departments throughout the facility.
• Manage the record retention process for all documents and Xray film, including shipping them out and recalling if necessary.
• Control the customer return process in ETQ software: receive the product, pull it from the box, input data into ETQ, work with the Quality Engineer on next steps, and report monthly status to management.
• Comply with all site‑required policies and procedures including EHS, Quality, and Code of Conduct.

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• One year of relative work experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• This position entails access to export‑controlled items; employment is conditioned upon ability to lawfully obtain access.

• Knowledge of AS9100 standards.
• Experience in internal auditing.
• Five years of relative work experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of investment casting process flow.

• Occasional bending, reaching, pushing and pulling when retrieving and moving various items.
• Lifting intermittently of various items; assistance is provided for weights exceeding 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
