Production Weekend Team Leader (Mold Prep- 2nd shift) – IGT

Coordinate work activities on a daily shift‑to‑shift basis to meet customer delivery schedules under the direction of the Department Supervisor.

• Production Skills (20%) – Coordinates workflow through the department on a daily basis to meet production schedules, ensures daily production goals in both quantity and quality, utilizes production methods that reduce cost and increase productivity, observes and adheres to performance standards, identifies and reports shortfalls, and ensures maintenance of equipment by application of TPM or other methods.
• Leadership (30%) – Upholds and demonstrates Howmet’s values in work approach, decision making, and ethical guidelines; maintains relationships with peers, subordinates, superiors, internal and external customers, promotes teamwork; seeks individual/self‑development opportunities; works on assigned projects to meet department goals and objectives.
• Communications (15%) – Communicates verbally and in writing to peers, superiors, internal and external customers and suppliers, maintains communication during shift turnover through turnover sheets or status boards, makes and receives verbal and written assignments, and conducts meetings with team members.
• Operator Skills (5%) – Working knowledge of all non‑certified operations in the department.
• Scheduling (15%) – Executes assignment instructions for work during shift to align with changes, absences, equipment downtime or necessary overtime; coordinates scheduling needs with Shared Resources, Central Stores, Tool Room, and Maintenance Work Systems.
• Work System (5%) – Ensures adherence to work systems, including work instructions, labor reporting, visual controls, Integrated Process Control, and audits.
• Training (5%) – Identifies, evaluates, and documents training needs, and trains operators using one‑on‑one or other techniques.
• Safety (5%) – Monitors the work environment for safety issues and acts to correct problems; utilizes the 5S program; follows Safety Regulations and Work Rules Handbook along with departmental safety requirements; complies with all company attendance policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Employment offers are conditioned upon the applicant’s ability to lawfully obtain access to export‑controlled items.

• Associate degree from a two‑year college or technical school.

Must be open to all shifts.
