Main Industries is hiring for full‑time sandblasters. No relocation or per diem available. We are looking for experienced sandblasters who have worked on marine and/or industrial projects. Candidates should be comfortable blasting inside confined spaces and at elevations of 50 feet or more. Experience with various blast media, including coal slag, garnet, aluminum oxide, sponge, and recyclable steel abrasive, is required.

Responsibilities include removing coatings per the project specification and setting up and breaking down blasting equipment, hoses, and material.

Full‑time, hourly

Two years (2) experience as a marine or industrial sandblaster.

• Must be 18 years old
• Experience working in a physically demanding environment; confined spaces, working at heights
• Be respirator fit‑tested and trained in respiratory safety per OSHA standards
• Forklift training/certification a plus (additional training will be required once hired for those using a forklift)
• Aerial man lift training/certification a plus (additional training will be required once hired for those using an aerial man lift)
• Understand and carry out verbal directions given by supervisor
• Understand and obey all posted warning, caution, notification and/or hazard signs posted on a job site
• All candidates must submit to drug testing and E‑Verification of their right to work in the US
• A criminal background check may be required
• Current TWIC badge a plus
• Current SSPC C7 certification a plus
• Reliable transportation a must

No overtime is guaranteed, but some projects do require overtime. This could be more than 40 hours during the normal Monday–Friday work week, work on the weekends or both. Some projects do have a night shift. You will be expected to be at work on all days/nights assigned.
