Future Opportunities TEMPORARY ASSEMBLY OPERATOR
TE Connectivity’s Production Operator II is responsible for assembling and testing electronic and mechanical components according to standardized work instructions, manufacturing drawings, and operating procedures. This role requires strong attention to detail, good hand‑eye coordination, and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
Job Responsibilities- Follow standardized work instructions for component assembly per top/sub‑level drawings.
- Test electronics and mechanical part assemblies requiring good hand‑eye coordination.
- Operate hydraulic presses.
- Read and comprehend manufacturing drawings, SOPs, and OMS.
- Maintain high cleanliness standards (5S) during the shift and in responsible areas.
- Demonstrate a mindset of continuous improvement in all duties.
- Follow all directions and safety protocols.
- Use microscopes and small hand tools as needed.
- Apply job skills and company policies and procedures.
- Work a 12‑hour shift with a 1/2 lunch; compensated for 40 hours while working 36 hours.
- Must be available to train on 1st Shift Monday–Friday 6 am‑2:30 pm.
- Experience (1+ year preferred) in similar production or inspection roles—experience is not required.
- Ability to perform semi‑routine, varied duties.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Good hand‑eye coordination.
- Experience using microscopes.
- Experience using small hand tools.
- Manufacturing inspection experience.
- Experience in a production environment as a machinist inspector or printing press operator.
Entry‑level position, typically requiring little to no related work experience. Completion of high school or equivalent is usually required.
Physical Demands- Regular use of hands to find, handle, or feel; routine reaching with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch; primarily standing.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 15 lbs unassisted; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs assisted.

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $21 (subject to change dependent on physical location). Total compensation includes base salary, incentive(s), and benefits.
