Heavy Equipment Operator

• Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders at recycling facilities and waste disposal sites
• Operate equipment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
• Maintain accurate equipment records
• Move and position raw materials and finished components using material-moving equipment
• Follow standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicles
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment
• Must be over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
• Ability to operate bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders
• Ability to follow company safety policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures
• Ability to conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
• Ability to work independently and support colleagues
• Required finger dexterity and motor coordination for most of the workday
• Required to occasionally handle objects under 30 pounds
• Required to rarely face occupational risks such as cuts, burns, and toxic chemicals
• Required to work in dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, or similar conditions most of the workday

Demonstrates expertise in operating heavy equipment such as Bulldozers, Scrapers, and Front-End Loaders while adhering to safety policies and conducting routine inspections and maintenance. Capable of maintaining accurate equipment records and performing physical tasks in challenging environments.
