Sentara Medical Group Family Medicine Careplex West Office is now hiring a Full-Time LPN in the Hampton, VA area. ALL QUALIFIED CANDIDATES CAN RECEIVE up to a $8,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!

Hours: Monday-Friday, Dayshift. NO NIGHTS, HOLIDAYS or WEEKENDS.

• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic nursing care under the supervision of an RN or Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) in the clinical setting, within the scope of practice dictated by the State Boards of Nursing.
• Demonstrates professional and clinical knowledge relative to the designated clinical practice setting in the delivery of direct patient care.
• Works as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support and communicate effectively with physicians, NP, PA, and other licensed practitioners.
• Provides patient care and teaching for patients and family members; adheres to legal and ethical standards of nursing practice.
• Manages workload with accuracy, delivers excellent customer service, performs testing, medication administration, and implements nursing interventions and care plans to support holistic patient care.
• Acts as a patient advocate in the prevention of illness or disease.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire and holds a valid LPN license in the state(s) of practice.

• Education:
  
  Trade School or Diploma LPN
• Licensure:
  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Virginia
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days from hire
• Experience:
  
  Clinical experience preferred
