Position Highlights- Flexible schedules – varying shifts: 6am - 4pm, 8am - 6pm, 9am - 7pm, 4pm - 2am and on weekends 2pm - 12pm.

- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Nurse Practitioner Certification.
- Experience working in an Emergency Room setting, 12 months with an annual volume of 20,000 plus.
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications.
As an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner at Hampton VAMC you will not handle Trauma or Pediatrics. The most common diagnoses are chest pains, gastrointestinal illness, and COPD exacerbations. If you are looking for a slower paced, less aggressive ER environment, then Hampton VA is your best bet!
